Talent times two!

December 26th, 2009

Earlier this year I highlighted the work of photographer Sarah Yates. It just so happens that her boyfriend Lou is also a talented photographer. They each contribute a photo a day to their joint blog called BirdsOfAFeatherBlog. Included below are a few of my favorite shots.

J’adore paris in the snow

December 25th, 2009

The timing is perfect to discover another great blog called TheCherryBlossomGirl.com I was happy to find some striking images of Paris in the snow that have a lovely atmospheric quality. This creative blog belongs to Alix Bancourt, a fashion school graduate, designer, and journalist. I have a feeling I will be back frequently for inspiration.

Joyeux Noël Le Blog De Betty

December 24th, 2009

I am a huge fan of LeBlogdeBetty.com. It is the fashion blog of stylist and model Betty Autier. The Her sense of style is effortless and chic. Every time I go to her site, I wish I could just jump right into her clothes and her closet! She can make a dime look like a dollar, but it seems that most recently she had been blessed with some amazing designer pieces! She is just adorable and the photographer does a great job drawing catching the details and you into each look.

First Photos with my new toy camera

December 24th, 2009

I received an early christmas gift a few days ago and to my surprise it was a very special camera. It is a Digital Harinezumi 2 from made by a Japanese company called SUPERHEADZ. After spending a cloudy afternoon at the beach I transferred some photos to my laptop and was pleasantly surprised by the intensely saturated images. The photos were way better than anticipated with some surprise elements.

I dream of Luminodot!

December 22nd, 2009

All I want for Christmas is this high tech Lite Brite called the Luminodot. Bandai, a Japanese toy company created a high definition version that will knock your socks off. It has a 3500 peg display, you can generate your own artwork as pdf templates, and even use one of the pre-programed Led animated sequences to light up your creation. You can order one at audiocubes.com, a site that carries many high tech Japanese gadgets.
