Catherine Dudley

July 31st, 2010

I came across the work of Catherine Dudley earlier this week when she contacted me about samples of the robots wallpaper. I was immediately drawn in by the vivid pattern at the header of her website. With her patterns she creates beautiful layered collages. I pulled some of my favorite images from her site including a shot from her studio.

Additionally, we received another customer image of Analog Nights in Glimmer from a client in the UK. I love the way the metallic paper plays off the vintage telephone and mid-centry credenza.

A World Tour of Textiles

July 25th, 2010

John Robshaw designs beautiful print based products for the home. To find inspiration for his line, John travels around the world and works with a nonprofit organization called Aid to Artisans. The orginization connects talented craftspeople in struggling countries to global markets to help their businesses thrive and grow. To create his work he combines the designs and techniques from the different cultures that inspire him. It wouldn’t surprise me if the John Robshaw brand expands into wallpaper in the future.
