Recent Identity Design

August 1st, 2010

Over the past few months, I went back to my roots in graphic design and worked on a few Identity projects. I had a ton of fun working on the logo and site design for Dither Down Records. I was excited to design my first record sleeve and album art. They will soon be releasing tracks by Saadi, 33hz, and Trap.Avoid.

For audio post production studio, Kittens Post, I designed an 80’s skate inspired logo.

Kass Health was fun to work on since we decided to go with a text logo similar to the cursive one I created for my brand. Jennifer is an integrative health and wellness coach and graduate of the well known Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City.

For both dither down and Kass Health I worked closely with my friend and past design assistant, Martha Hipley. She does a great job programming the layouts for wordpress My site is also wordpress, and was built by1080d.

Über Chic Runner Reporter

August 1st, 2010

I recently met Sofia Headstrom, a marathon runner, blogger, and a fashion journalist from Stockholm, Sweden. She has amazing style and encourages women who run to be bold and incorporate fashion into their workout. Before ever meeting Sofia, I spotted her on multiple occasions running by Oslo, my favorite coffee shop. I remember specifically because each time, she was wearing a skirt!

Below are are a few images from her website, www.sofiaheadstrong.com. The photography, logo, and layout do such a great job conveying her adorable personality. There is a short interview of Sofia here.

Rabbit on the Run sets up Brooklyn shop!

June 15th, 2010

The Rabbit on the Run showroom is now open to the public every Saturday to Monday on the blossoming South side of Williamsburg. Pieces from past and current collections are available and all of the beautiful graphic clothing is one size fits all! I stopped by earlier this week and wanted to take everything home!

The store is located at 73 South 6th street between Berry & Wythe in Williamsburg. Around the corner is Diner and Marlow & Sons. Additionally, next door is the Brook Farm General Store–also worth a stop.

client connection – moon

July 14th, 2009

moon01

We’ve been dying to see the sci-fi/thriller Moon, especially now that it’s experiencing a much broader release as of last Friday. It’s been getting rave reviews (89% at Rotten Tomatoes!), and I’m excited to see a new science fiction film that doesn’t rely on a huge budget or digital effects. We have other reasons for wanting to go as well. Clint Mansell, one of our favorite and first clients, composed the score!

Hopefully we’ll be able to update soon with our own opinions on the film after we get a chance to see it.

a moment of cuteness

July 7th, 2009

A dear friend of mine runs the adorable and underrated blog The Puppy Master. The concept is simple but sweet- each day’s post features a painfully cute photo of a dog matched with an appropriately themed song. Check out today’s post for some puppy loving to the tune of Roxy Music’s “Lover.”
