Bold Spaces of Panton’s Past

August 17th, 2010

I received a link today over email of another inspiring blog called but does it float.com and came across a few images of Verner Panton’s spaces. His work had always been captivating to me, and I was lucky enough to experience an installation of his work at the Whitney a few years ago. Spending some time inside Visiona 2 was by far the best thing at the exhibit, Summer of Love. It would be exciting to bring some of his designs back to life as wallpaper, if they aren’t currently available.

a photo for everyone

August 15th, 2010

Recently, I came across an amazing collection of photographs online ranging from vintage advertising images to current day photography. I absolutely love so many of these and wish I could print and post them on my bulletin, or have a whole wall in frames. The blog is called hrstudioplus.com. Here are some of the photos I like most.

Polaroid Landscape Heaven

August 3rd, 2010

Yesterday I was interviewed for the Burke Decor Blog over ichat. It just so happens that the writer for their blog is also the fantastic photographer, Elise Irving. I am especially in love with her Polaroid Landscapes, and would be sooo happy if she made these available as large scale wall prints or even tiled out as digital wallpaper. It would be fabulous!

In the meantime you can purchase limited edition prints at Burke Decor in 9″ X 7″ format.

In effort to resume blogging, I thought I would post this special picture taken one evening last weekend when I was in Dumbo.

J’adore paris in the snow

December 25th, 2009

The timing is perfect to discover another great blog called TheCherryBlossomGirl.com I was happy to find some striking images of Paris in the snow that have a lovely atmospheric quality. This creative blog belongs to Alix Bancourt, a fashion school graduate, designer, and journalist. I have a feeling I will be back frequently for inspiration.
