Over the past few months, I went back to my roots in graphic design and worked on a few Identity projects. I had a ton of fun working on the logo and site design for Dither Down Records. I was excited to design my first record sleeve and album art. They will soon be releasing tracks by Saadi, 33hz, and Trap.Avoid.
For audio post production studio, Kittens Post, I designed an 80's skate inspired logo.
I worked closely with my developer friend and past design assistant, Martha Hipley.
I was reading one of my favorite French magazine, Jalouse, the other evening and came across a two page spread on local Brooklyn band, Amazing Baby! Don, the guitarist recently stopped by my studio and hadn't yet seen a hard copy--coincidentally I was able to show him the article I discovered the previous night.
Just put together this album art for my my friends mixtape. Download it here
Beautiful Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Senator Schumer attended the Grizzly Bear show this weekend in Brooklyn. Just wanted to share a few photos from the festivities including a great photo of Lauren Flax below.
After the party in the park, it was time to head over to Williamsburg Music Hall to see Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros perform. It was definitely one of the best shows I have seen this year. Imagine Jesus with a traveling orchestra that kicks ass. REALLY KICKS ASS! Check out one of their videos here.
