Cement: AW guarantees that the color will vary slightly from tile to tile. This is why cement tiles are used so widelyin creating one-of-a-kind residential and commercial spaces. White effervescence on the surface of the tile is to be expected, but will become less noticeable after a while.Available in both matte and glazed finishes. Some variation in color between individual tiles is to be expected. As with all our handmade tiles, small differences in pattern matchup and/or tile height are also possible. That’s why we recommend mixing tiles from different boxes, in order to spread slight variations evenly throughout the entire installation area IMAGES HERE

The same care should be taken when storing our cement breeze blocks.
Ceramic Tile:Ceramic tiles should be stored in a dry area prior to installation. Moisture or dampness can damage tiles.

A high-quality sealant must be used for shower, spa, or poolapplications.Cement tiles cannot be used in a pool thatis cleaned with pH-altering products, because cement tiles are not acid-resistant and can only be cleaned with pH-neutral cleaners.
Our cement tile is recommended for floor, wall, backsplash, accent, and shower applications. With proper installation, our cement tile can be also used in exterior spaces, including swimming pools in tropical climates. Swimming pool installations require a sealer that will withstand pool chemicals. We do not guarantee resistance to chemicals.
Use Rust-Oleum Miracle 511 Porous Plus to seal AW cement tiles and grout — apply a minimum of 2 to 3 coats. For cleaning cement tiles, we recommend usingRust-Oleum Miracle Sealants Tile and Stone Cleaner,a non-acidic, anti-bacterial cleaner. When properly maintained, the sealer should have a lifespan comparable to what is advised on the product’s information label. However, the durability of your tile will vary depending on use and traffic. The easiest way to determine if your tile or grout needs to be re-sealed is to spray it lightly with water. If water beads on the surface, the sealer on the tile and/or grout is still in good condition. If the water is absorbed, the sealer should be properly reapplied as soon as possible..

Use in Wet Areas
Ceramic tile can be used in outdoor settings such as patios, pools, and fountains with the correct sealant. Although sealing is not normally required for ceramic tile, for any application subject to a high exposure to water we do recommend properly sealing your ceramic tiles to ensure the best possible protection over time.
Our ceramic tiles are low maintenance, durable, and normally require no sealant (except in wet areas, as noted above).
