We are proud to offer over forty designs hand printed in the United States in a curated range of color ways. Our papers are printed to order with most shipping within 1 - 3 weeks, however some designs take longer due to the intricate production process. Often we print overage and have available inventory in popular styles for quicker shipping. Please contact us if your order is urgent. Custom coloring is available for an additional setup fee.
We recommend consulting your installer to ensure enough paper is ordered for your project. You may also contact us directly via email or phone for an estimate. Please have your measurements ready in feet and inches, or meters. To get a general idea of how many rolls you need, use the formulas below.
We recommend measuring with a steel tape measure. Make your measurements in feet and round off to the next half foot or foot. Measure the wall height from the floor to the ceiling, excluding any baseboards or moldings. Then measure the length of the wall without deducting for windows or doors (this will leave you extra wallpaper in case you may need it). Multiply the two measurements to find the surface area of the wall.
Single rolls of our paper are 15 feet long, but widths generally vary from 27 – 28 inches, with a few even less. 1 roll in theory covers about 30 square feet, but 1 roll will only cover 1 drop on a standard 8 foot wall [about 16 square feet]. To find the number of rolls needed to cover your wall, multiply the height and the width of the wall by rounding up each length to the nearest foot. Then divide by 30.
Example: For a wall that is 10 feet 6 inches high by 9 feet 4 inches long. Round up and multiply 11 feet by 10 feet to get 110 square feet. Divide 110 by 30 and you will get 3.6. In this case you will need 5 rolls.
If the number divides out to be .5 or above, you will need to add one more roll on to be safe. If you were to get 3.4, 4 rolls would be enough, but if you get 3.5 to 4.4, you will need 5 rolls.
As the number of rolls increases beyond 10, you should factor in at least 5 – 10% for install error, as well as to have matching wallpaper [from the same run!] should panels become damaged over time and need replacing. Your installer is the best person to consult for ordering properly.
If you are unsure, please contact us before making a purchase.
a. Measure the wall in meters, rounding up to the nearest 1/2 meter. For example, 4.3 meters should round to 4.5 meters.
b. Multiply the length of the wall by the height of the wall to get the area; do not subtract for windows, doors etc.
c. Divide by 2.75. For numbers x.01 – x.4, round up to next whole number. For example, if you get 4.3, you need 5 rolls. For numbers x.5 – x.99, round up and add one. For example, if you get 4.5, you need 6 rolls. This is to account for the vertical design match which is typically around 1 meter tall and the pattern must match side to side.
EXAMPLE: Say the wall is 4.3 x 5.7 meters. Write down 4.5 x 6 = 27. Divide 27/2.75 = 9.8. For this you would need 11 rolls. *We will most likely ship 5 double rolls and 1 single roll.

We recommend that a professional experienced in paper hanging install all wallpaper. We cannot be held responsible for improperly hung paper.
Please note that mylar papers can be scratched or dulled by wallpaper smoothing tools. To avoid damage, wrap tools in chamois, lubricate tools with glue, or smooth paper by hand.
Please contact us for additional recommendations regarding specific hanging situations.
Walls should be primed with a product that is compatible with the adhesive before hanging wallcovering. Special attention should be given to removing all old paste. Do not apply directly over latex or water based paints without first priming the wall.
We recommend a good quality, clear, pre-mixed vinyl adhesive, such as Roman Adhesive PRO-880. Wash adhesive completely from surface of wallpaper immediately after each strip is hung. Any adhesive left on the face of the wallcovering may damage the surface-printed inks and cause them to flake. If a lining paper is used, hang only with a thin solution of the same ready-mixed adhesive. There is NO guarantee against mildewing, fading or oxidizing.
We recommend that a professional experienced in paper hanging install all wallpaper. We will not be held responsible for improperly hung paper.
We recommend a good quality, clear, premixed vinyl adhesive, such as Roman Adhesive PRO-880 or premixed Vinyl paste available from most Home Depots for most installations. Please contact us for additional recommendations regarding specific hanging situations.
Paste, “book” (fold pasted sides together), roll each sheet, and let stand for 3 – 5 minutes. This will keep the seams from opening up and drying out while the paper is relaxing. Match paper on the wall at eye level. Clean with warm water and a sponge, taking care to remove all the paste from the surface. Rinse thoroughly a second time with clean warm water.
The highest quality craftsmanship has been employed in the production of the designs in this hand printed portfolio, and our product is carefully inspected before shipment. Final inspection and approval, however, is the responsibility of the customer. Before opening the first roll, customer must verify that the pattern number, dye lot and quantity are correct.
Customer is responsible for inspecting the merchandise for defects and other concerns or issues before installation. In the event a defect is found after installation has begun, stop immediately. Do not continue to install defective material. Under no circumstances should more than three strips be hung.
Labor claims will not be honored in any way. All of the wallcoverings in this collection are hand made; therefore, machine accuracy should not be expected. Each dye lot produced has its own unique inherent color and shading characteristics. Make note of the pattern number, run number and background lot number for future reference should it be needed.
For best results in cleaning your wallpaper, simply wipe with a cloth slightly dampened with water only and or a mild soap that does not contain detergent. Rinse with clear, clean water. Stains caused by grease and oil may not necessarily be removed.
