Cement : AW guarantees that the color will vary slightly from tile to tile. This is why cement tiles are used so widely in creating one-of-a-kind residential and commercial spaces. White efflorescence on the surface of the tile is to be expected, but will become less noticeable after a while.
Terrazzo : Please expect slight variations in the color and texture of our terrazzo tiles, as well as subtle differences in size and height.Breeze Blocks: These architectural breeze blocks are hand-molded in grey cement, ready to be painted. Please expect subtle variations between blocks.
Tile samples are available for purchase on the respective AW product pages. Samples are the same size as the tiles in our collections. Occasionally, if we are out of sample stock in a specific color, material, or finish, an alternate sample may be sent along with the requested design. Samples are only for reference to color and scale, and although they are carefully packed, samples may be inadvertently damaged during shipment or may contain fragments of chipped tile or clear breaks in the sample. We add 20% overage to all tile orders to account for this.
Sample tiles have not been treated with sealer and may show a white efflorescence, which either looks like a bit of dust on the surface, or like a halo around the edges. However, any efflorescence will be reduced by proper sealing and care. AW does not offer free samples.
As with our other products, interior designers and architects may request a few complimentary samples when setting up a trade account — however, for complimentary tiles, the customer is responsible for shipping costs. Sample orders under $50 may be shipped via USPS and tracking is not available.
This product is priced by the box and is subject to minimum order. Occasionally it may be possible to order less than the stated minimum — additional fees may apply. Please email us: info@aimeewilder.com.

Recommended Installations: Our cement tile is recommended for floor, wall, backsplash, accent, and shower applications. With proper installation, our cement tile can be also used in exterior spaces, including swimming pools in tropical climates. Swimming pool installations require a sealer that will withstand pool chemicals. We do not guarantee resistance to chemicals.
Care Instructions: Use Rust-Oleum Miracle 511 Porous Plus to seal AW cement tiles and Maipei flexicolor grout; apply a minimum of 2 to 3 coats. For cleaning cement tiles, we recommend using Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants Tile and Stone Cleaner, a non-acidic, anti-bacterial cleaner. We don't recommend ever using acidic, anti-bacterial cleaner, alkaline, or caustic cleaners such as ammonia which can damage and abrade the tiles or remove the sealer. To clean tiles after grout application, it is highly effective to use a wet towel immediately after install to remove damp grout and residue before drying.
When properly maintained, the sealer should have a lifespan comparable to what is advised on the product’s information label. However, the durability of your tile will vary depending on use and traffic. The easiest way to determine if your tile or grout needs to be re-sealed is to spray it lightly with water. If water beads on the surface, the sealer on the tile and/or grout is still in good condition. If the water is absorbed, the sealer should be properly reapplied as soon as possible.
Cement tiles are porous and are subject to stains from various substances even with proper installation and sealing. We recommend wiping away anything that falls onto the tiles immediately and cleaning tiles regularly with water. Although there are many approaches for removing stains from cement tiles depending on the type of stain, we recommend deferring to a flooring contractor who has experience installing and maintaining cement tiles.
