Sold by the yard, our whimsical fabrics include various production techniques for both residential and commercial use — handprinted, pigment-printed, and woven. We manufacture on demand in the New York City area and surrounding Northeast, and for most of our patterns offer a range of colors.
Please email info@aimeewilder.com for samples and pricing.
Protective coatings for stain, liquid, and fire retardancy are available as an additional process with additional fees.
Custom coloring is available with a minimum order and setup fee. Archived colors and patterns are available for custom orders. Other materials such as sailcloth, combed cotton sateen, and heavyweight linen are available on a custom-order basis, subject to minimum order.

Due to the handmade nature of our products slight variations in color and design may occur. When ordering multiple yards of the same pattern and color, we do our best to make sure everything matches as closely as possible.
Fabric samples are available for purchase on the respective AW product pages. Samples may vary in size — please see product pages for details. AW does not offer free samples. However, interior designers and architects may request a few complimentary samples when setting up a trade account. Sample orders under $50 are shipped via USPS and tracking is not available.
Our contract fabrics are woven on Jacquard looms. Weaving on looms with a solid warp and with multiple filling options enables us to create a range of colors, densities, and patterns. Contract textiles are intended for heavily trafficked areas or for commercial use, and can be ordered with commercial coatings to meet industry guidelines for fire rating, rub tests, stain resistance, and color longevity. Custom-order and bulk pricing are available depending on quantities for all AW patterns. Our woven fabrics are available in residential weights on a custom-order basis. Ask us about converting any of the AW designs to a woven fabric while our first collection is nearing completion.
Our Contract Woven Fabric meets or exceeds NFPA 260, NFPA 701, and CAL 117, and is rated 30,000–50,000 DR Wyzenbek/Martindale, depending on the pattern.
We offer a range of made-to-order and custom pillows, poufs, and accessories in all of our fabrics. Down, feather, or fiber insert options are available on our product pages. Please contact us for custom, bulk, and stock orders: orders@aimeewilder.com.
With digital pigment printing, it’s normal for minor variations and flecks of the base fabric to be visible. Dry clean only.
Please refer to care instructions for our Contract Woven Fabric.
Cushion sizes are based on the size of fabric panels prior to sewing. Once the cushion is sewn and stuffed with our plush inserts, please expect finished dimensions to vary.
Our poufs are filled with a natural, eco-friendly fiber called Kapok, and are available in stock and custom sizes. To sanitize and freshen, pouf inserts can be dried out in the sun, with the white cover left on. Do not open the internal pouf liner cover, because the Kapok material should always be handled in a factory environment with mask protection. If the pouf insert is badly soiled, please contact us to order a replacement.
To avoid cutting or tearing your cushion, please open the box carefully by pulling up the tape instead of using a box cutter. We are not responsible for allergies related to down fill. Please order fiber-filled cushions if you have any health concerns related to down. Cushion sizes are based on the dimensions of the fabric panels that cover the cushion itself, but once the cushion is stuffed with our plump over-filled inserts, you should expect finished dimensions to appear smaller than the specified size.
We recommend professional, organic dry-cleaning for all AW fabric. Pouf inserts can be dried out in the sun with white cover on to sanitize and freshen. Do not open internal pouf liner cover as the Kapok material must be handled in a factory environment with mask protection. If pouf insert is badly soiled, please reach out through our contact page to order a replacement.
Our eco-friendly hand-printed fabric is made to order with water-based VOC-free ink. The following stock styles are available by the yard in select colors: Cactus Spirit, Cheetah Vision, Jungle Dream, Cosmic Splash, and Piña Sola. For custom orders, we can convert most designs from our library to hand-printed fabric. Patterns can be customized on a range of materials, and custom coloring is available for an additional fee. Commercial finishes are recommended for stain protection and easier cleaning.
A strike-off for approval is required for all hand-print production runs. Expect lead-times of 8 to 12 weeks for strike-off and production.
Silkscreened by hand. Every order is cured at 240º F through a curebox, which helps to set the colors after printing.
Our inks are 100% aqueous dispersion (water-based), free of chemical solvents, non-toxic, and VOC-free. Print facilities are optimized to contribute as little waste, water usage, and electricity as possible. Finishing is done using heat rather than chemical binding.

Our pigment-printed styles are printed on a linen cotton with a water-based ink system. Specialty materials such as Belgian linen, cotton canvas, denim, and other materials are available on a custom-order basis, custom setup fees and price per yard difference may apply. Standard fabric grounds are 54 inches wide. Orders for multiple yards of the same pattern will be sent uncut.
Our pigment-printed fabric is made with a water-based, ultra-low-VOC ink system, and is finished using a heat and pressure process instead of chemical binding. The print facility is optimized to create as little waste as possible, and to use as little water and electricity as possible. The pigment-printing process eliminates waste-ink runoff. With digital pigment printing, it’s normal for minor variations and flecks of the base fabric to be visible.

Our rugs are made by hand in India and Nepal. With orders of multiple rugs in the same pattern and color, we do our best to make sure everything matches as closely as possible. However, due to natural variations in the fibers, some variation in color, texture, and/or design is to be expected.
Our rugs will be marked with a tag on the back, which will indicate that this side is meant to be face down. We advise against wearing street shoes on our handmade rugs to protect from stains, abrasions, and other damage. However, we do offer finishing services for protection from stain and abrasion.
In stock rugs will ship within 10 business days. For made-to-order rugs, please expect approximately 8 to 16 weeks. We will update you at least one time while your rug is in progress, just before it is ready to ship, and if the shipment is delayed. We are not responsible for production delays related to any defects that are caught just prior to a rug’s dispatch from the manufacturer. We will do our best to work with the manufacturer to make sure the rug is shipped to match our specifications.
Rugs are woven on a loom and may be slightly bigger or smaller than the specified size. If you are limited in space, please contact us for the exact measurement of our in-stock rugs. Please also contact us to specify the maximum size for your custom-ordered rug. We will work with the manufacturer to make sure your rug is the same or slightly less than the maximum size specified.
Our rugs must be cleaned professionally by a rug cleaning service, such as ABC Rug & Carpet Cleaning Service in New York City, or similar.
We are also happy to facilitate cleaning and stain protection through our preferred service. For a quote, please email orders@aimeewilder.com.
For fresh spills on any wool flat-weave rug: Blot with a dry, clean cotton cloth to remove excess liquid. A clean, warm, and slightly damp cloth with clear water may be used to blot wet stains only. Do not rub or scrub, as this can damage the rug’s fibers and weave. The blotting process may not remove the stain completely. For complete stain removal we recommend professional rug cleaning.
We do not guarantee that your stain will be eliminated by self-cleaning. We always recommend professional cleaning. We are not responsible for damage due to the self-cleaning or professional cleaning of any stains, whether with water or any other consumer or professional rug-cleaning solvent.
Silk and bamboo silk rugs must be professionally cleaned.
Please open rug packages with care and do not use box cutter or other sharp cutting blades, except to cut open the outer bag while ensuring that the blade remains a safe distance from package contents.
Our rugs are reviewed for defects prior to dispatch. If you believe your rug has been damaged during shipment, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery via email with photos of the packaging and damage. Rugs damaged in transit will be covered by our insurance and re-manufactured. We are not responsible for delays related to the replacement of a rug due to any defects.
